Window Cleaning and Exterior Glass Services in Ventura County
Residential window cleaning isn't one-size-fits-all. A single-story ranch home is a completely different job from a three-story craftsman or a high-rise condo unit. The access points are different, the equipment requirements are different, and the risks — to your windows, your screens, and your home's exterior — are different too. We've cleaned them all.
My Window Man serves homeowners across Oxnard, Ventura, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, and every city and town in Ventura County. Whether you're maintaining a primary residence, getting a rental ready for new tenants, or prepping a vacation home for the season, we bring professional-grade equipment and attention to detail that shows in the finished result.
Every residential job includes a full walk-around inspection before we start and after we finish. If anything doesn't meet our standard — or yours — we fix it before we leave.

Single-Story Homes — Fast, Clean, No Hassle
Single-story homes are our most straightforward residential job — but straightforward doesn’t mean we cut corners. Every window gets cleaned inside and out (if requested), every sill gets wiped, and every screen gets inspected for damage before being replaced.
Because we’re working at ground level, we can complete most single-story homes faster than you might expect — with no ladders tracking across your landscaping and no risk of damage to gutters or fascia.
What’s Typically Included:
- Exterior window cleaning — all ground-level windows
- Interior window cleaning (if selected)
- Screen wipe-down and reinspection
- Sill and frame cleaning
- Final walk-around inspection
Ideal For: Ranch homes, single-floor bungalows, single-story cottages
Multi-Story Homes — Reach Every Window Safely
High windows are where a lot of DIY cleaning attempts end badly — on a ladder, in the wind, with a bucket that tips. We use water-fed pole systems that let us clean windows up to three or four stories from the ground, safely, with no ladder contact on your roofline, gutters, or siding.
For windows that require closer access, our technicians are trained in proper ladder safety and always use stabilizers to protect your exterior surfaces.
What’s Typically Included:
- Exterior cleaning of all floors — ground level through upper stories
- Water-fed pure water system for upper-story windows (spot-free, no residue)
- Interior window cleaning (if selected — lower floors standard; upper floors by access)
- Screen and frame cleaning
- Final inspection at all levels
Ideal For: Two-story homes, three-story homes, split-level properties

Condo Window Cleaning — We Handle the Details
Condo cleaning comes with its own set of logistics. Access may be limited by building management or HOA rules. Windows may only be reachable from the interior. Balcony access may require coordination. Shared exterior glass may need to stay off-limits.
We’ve worked in condo buildings across Ventura County and know how to navigate these constraints professionally. We’ll work within your building’s rules, communicate with property management if needed, and make sure the job is done without creating any issues with neighbors or building staff.
What’s Typically Included:
- Interior window cleaning (most common for high-floor condos)
- Exterior cleaning where balcony or safe exterior access exists
- Sliding glass door and track cleaning
- Screen cleaning and reinspection
- Coordination with HOA/building management if required
Ideal For: Low-rise and mid-rise condo units, ground-floor and upper-floor units, owner-occupied and rental condos

Townhouse Window Cleaning — Multi-Level, Tight Spaces, No Problem
Townhouses combine the vertical challenge of a multi-story home with the access constraints of an attached property. Narrow side yards, shared walls, and HOA restrictions mean we need to plan each job carefully before we show up.
We bring the right equipment for tight exterior access — including extension poles and water-fed systems that don’t require ladder placement against shared walls — and we always respect neighboring units.
What’s Typically Included:
- Exterior window cleaning — all stories accessible from the unit’s footprint
- Interior window cleaning (if selected)
- Skylight cleaning where safely accessible
- Screen, sill, and frame cleaning
- Coordination with HOA guidelines if applicable
Ideal For: Attached townhomes, HOA community townhouses, end-unit and interior-unit townhouses

Vacation Home Window Cleaning — Ready When Your Guests Arrive
Vacation homes along the Ventura County coast take a beating. Salt air, marine layer, and long stretches between visits mean windows accumulate mineral deposits, hard water staining, and grime that regular cleaning can’t always touch.
We specialize in getting vacation properties back to showroom condition before a rental turnover, a sale listing, or the start of the season. We can work with property managers, real estate agents, or directly with out-of-area owners — you don’t need to be on site.
What’s Typically Included:
- Full exterior window cleaning — including salt residue and hard water treatment if needed
- Interior window cleaning (if access is arranged)
- Screen and track cleaning
- Sliding glass door cleaning (common in coastal properties)
- Hard water stain removal assessment — flagged and quoted separately if significant
Ideal For: Coastal vacation rentals, Airbnb and VRBO properties, seasonal second homes, pre-sale listings, properties managed remotely
What Homeowners Ask Before They Book
Common Concern | How We Handle It |
|---|---|
"Will you damage my screens or frames?" | We inspect every screen before removal and after reinsertion. Damaged screens are flagged — never just stuffed back in. |
"I've had cleaners leave streaks before." | We use pure water systems and professional squeegee technique. Streaks mean we didn't finish — we don't leave until the glass is clear. |
"I have a really tall or hard-to-reach window." | Water-fed pole systems let us clean up to 3–4 stories from the ground, safely. No ladders against your roofline. |
"I don't want someone inside my home." | Exterior-only service is available on every residential job. Just let us know when you book. |
"Do I need to move furniture or prep anything?" | For interior cleaning, we ask that you clear the immediate window area. We handle everything else. |
"I'm worried about my landscaping during the job." | We don't drag ladders or hoses across planted areas. We plan our approach before we start. |
"What if I'm not home?" | Exterior-only jobs can be completed without you present. We'll notify you when we arrive and when we're done. |

Our Process
What Happens From Estimate to Finished Job
01
Request Your Free Estimate
Call (805) 483-8811, send a text, or fill out the form. Tell us your property type, number of windows (rough estimate is fine), and whether you want interior, exterior, or both.
02
We Confirm Your Appointment
You'll get a confirmed arrival window — not an all-day wait. We'll remind you the day before.
03
We Assess Before We Start
Our technician walks the property first — noting window condition, access points, any hard water or specialty glass that needs extra attention. You're told upfront if anything falls outside the standard quote.
04
The Work Gets Done
We clean every window on the scope, starting from the top and working down. Screens are removed carefully, cleaned, and replaced. Sills and frames are wiped at every window.
05
We Walk It With You
Before we pack up, we do a final inspection — with you if you're home, or photographed and sent to you if you're not. If anything isn't right, it gets fixed on the spot.
